Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

If i have been seperated for a year but divorce not fianl can I buy a house in my name only,not use anything related to spouse and be ok after divorce goes through? She is not on loan or deed or any income used,it has all been seperate living.Please let me know.

There are steps that you can take to minimize the chance that she will be able to successfully claim that the house is marital, but the best resolution would be to get the divorce finalized though.
