Legal Question in Veterans Law in South Carolina

Veterans Disability rating

I am a USAF veteran with Crone's disease. I am 33 years old with 2 children. My Crone's disease is severe enough that I was hospitalized once for it while I was on active duty (for 5 days) and twice in the VA hospital after active duty. One flare up I had was so severe, after I was released from the hospital I was still bedridden for 2 and a half months. The reason I am writing to you is because the VA has repeatedly denied my claims to get a disability rating for my Crone's disease. I know of people who have an 80% rating for Crone's disease and their condition isn't as bad as mine, yet the va continues to give me 0%. I have all medical documents from active duty and the VA afterwards showing the many times I was treated for this condition. I have a letter from my VA doctor stating how, in his opinion, I definatly had Crone's disease while I was active duty but was never diagnosed and this is the reason they deny my claims (because I was never diagnosed while I was active duty). I was tested and diagnosed by a civilian doctor within the first year of being honorably discharged from active duty. I am writing for legal advice because a friend advised me to do so. Thank you for your time.
