Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in South Carolina
my mother died in oct. 2009...she did not have a will..my brother and i are the only heirs ...probate is not finshed and my brother is selling off personal property...is this legal?

If he was appointed the personal representative it may be legal. However, the proceeds would belong to the estate and not to him personally.
