Is there a time limit on getting a governers warrant ? If so how long do they have to get one?

There is no time limit for the issuance of a governor's warrant. However, if the warrant has already been issued, but not served, and is for a misdemeanor, then the warrant expires in 5 years; however, another warrant can be issued, which would be good for another 5 years.
