Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

who all do I sue?
9 yrs ago I lost custody of my child.the court said my x could not drink. he got 2 dui's within 2 mo's. judge still would not give cild to me. x refused all contact for last 6 yrs. child is badly abused. x aressed. child tryed to hang self at 11 yrs (now 15 yrs). x took child to state & said I don't want child. they went to court & said I was dead. child awarded to state. x's mom found me. told of abuse. I Pay Child Support! state should have found me! why didn't state get me yrs ago? who do I sue? dad for abuse? state for endangering my child? whom else? child has been in & out of state custody. child ran away 2 yrs ago. x arested for abusing child several times. court still gave MY child back to him! HELP! I go to court in May to get child. x pays state $300.00 mo support.child now under heavy depression drugs. diagnosed w/ bi-polar???? (manic depressant) do I sew for my pain and sew in behalf of my child for childs pain? Thank very much.
