Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

I was wanting to know if you can do an adoption without a lawyer? I have found adoption papers on different websites that you can print but just didnt want to waste my time if I couldnt use it. Thanks

It is possible to represent yourself in an adoption proceeding. However, I would caution you as it is a complicated area of law. For most adoptions, it would be a good idea to get counsel. If it is an uncontested adoption, firms such as ours can offer flat fees for the representation.
