Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Who will care for my children when I'm gone?

I am legally married and have 3 kids by him, I also have 2 other kids by 2 other men. I want to know how I legally can have my family raise my kids when I pass on. I do not want the fathers to have my kids split apart. What legal way can I ensure that my family raise my 5 kids and keep them together?

You can have a will written stating your request that your family raise your children. This will be effective only if none of the fathers demands that he be allowed to raise the child. If there has been violence or other abuse, you must notify your family. They will need this information if there is a custody hearing. The court can only give custody to your parents rather than the childs parent, unless to do so would be detrimental to the child.

You dont have that right. It is highly unlikely that a court would take the children from their fathers. A lot of selfish mean spirited women try to do this and it virtually always fails.
