if a summary judgement is filed and denied, can a second one be filed for the same case? thank you

If you are represented by an attorney, you need to have this discussion with your attorney as the answer depends on the issue upon which the summary judgment was denied, the issue upon which summary judgment is now being sought and the facts which were found or not found by the judge.
