Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Tennessee

medical malpractice

i was a football player that tore my acl, mcl and muniscus. i had surgery in 1998 and my knee kept bothering me. my girlfriend convinced me to finally go to the doctor and he found a surgical clip left in my knee from 1998. i went and got a lawyer and he said i had a case. i went to the doctor and he said the clip shouldnt be there too. the lawyer didnt want to persue my case and the year time frame went by because the lawyer drug it out that long. its still in my knee and its 2008, can i still seek compensation and how do i need to go about doing so. i think the lawyer got paid off to stop persuing my case

Re: medical malpractice

Based on what you've disclosed you may have a malpractice claim against the lawyer. I'd have to know more about the dates to determine whether your medical claim is lost or salvageable. Please call my office and make an appointment.
