Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Tennessee

What is the Statue of limitation in TN for filing.

I am a victim of sexual harrasment which occured during 1977 through 1980. I filed griviances with the local union, my supervisor's and to EEOC. It is now 1999 and I am still labled as a trouble maker and immature. I have been denied of job opportunities within the company because of this fact. I have been discriminated against over and over, and singled out simply for the mere reason I am a Black Female. Others have gotten jobs I applied for which I am and was better qualified for. I have had two (2) operations on my hands because of Carple Tunnel and I am given the worst jobs available only to discourage me. I have maintained records of 85% of these unacceptable actions and behaviors. The workplace here has really got me stressed out and the magnitude of the work is very strenous for my hands. What Can You/I Do?

Re: Gender, race, handicap discrimination afoot

I do not know how long you have in TN to file a discrimination charge in an

antidiscrimination commission. It is likely,

however, to be 180 days after the LAST

discriminatory adverse action.

Your case sounds as if it would be fact intensive.

Race is one kind of discrimination, gender another,

and handicap (carple tunnel) another. It would be best to toddle off to a lawyer very quickly.

Good luck.
