Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

I was pulled over friday July 13th at 1030pm by a Plano highway state patrolman, while driving my boyfriends car. for my niece throwing a cigarette butt out the window.

The officer takes our licenses and goes back to the car for a long period of time comes back ask me to step out of the vehicle-state the vehicle smells like marijuana and says he has a female cop on the way to search myself and my 23 yr old niece. also that he was searching the vehicle- the Lady patrolman arrives asks me to step infront of his car and ask "may I search your persons?" I asked what does that mean? search my body?

I thought I would be patted down no big deal- She searches my bra strap and proceeds to my buttocks area opens my pants states oh your not wearing any under wear -slides her hand up in down in my buttcks crack, turns me around and sticks he fingers in my vagina?!!!! at this point i jump up in the air and state i have been violated! at no time what so ever did she state thats what she was going to do to me or I would not have allowed it- The she proceeds to do the same thing to my 23 yr old niece - I dont even think she changed her gloves- this cant be legal to do this on the side of a road with cars driving by watching and she didnt even check my socks or shoes!! But she checks my VAGINA!. the male cop officer searches through my purse inside of the car- holds my prescriptions up which one of them is hydrocordone asks me when the last time is I took it? I say i dont know 2-3 months? I carry it on me at all times -incase of a gallblader attack, so I wont have to go to emergency room.

after he searches my purse - he goes around to passenger side pulls my nieces purse out of the vehicle and searches hers on the trunk of the car - comes up with nothing and last ditch effort makes me do a sobriety test! then gives me a warning and allows me to leave after an hour of being treated like a criminal. I drive away and my notice my bottle of hydrocordone is missing- he actually stole my pain killers.

I have never been soooo humiliated, embarrassed or violated in my life - I feel like i have actually be raped or molested.

Is this legal?

No, it's not legal.

Was it Plano police or was it the highway patrol?

You need to sue their socks off. Remember to keep track of your witnesses.
