Legal Question in Technology Law in Texas

Publishing personal information online without consent

Hello,

I post anonymously on a political blog. The blog owner has threatened to publish my name and identifying information online without my consent. Is this legal? The blog owner is in the state of Texas. I'm in North Dakota, and I don't know from where the blog is served to the Internet.

If this person does publish my name and personal information without my consent, is it actionable?

I would need to read the terms of use for the blog. If there are none, then you would probably only have a tort claim regarding privacy and the facts would determine the strength of that claim. Sometimes a lawyer's letter help in these situations.
