Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

credit card debt of deceased

My aunt passed away and wrote a letter stating that I was her heir. The letter was signed by her and one witness. My question is am I required to pay for an existing car loan and her credit card bills from funds that came out of her work insurance? Can the car loan payments just not be paid.

Thank You for any info you can provide.

Re: credit card debt of deceased

if there were any assets, you need a lawyer..debts may have to be paid from assets..car will be repossessed if not paid..etc..
