Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I was divorced in August of 2009, and in the divorce my Exhusband got the house, I notified the mortage company of the divorce and gave them my new contact information. I am finding out now that the mortage was sold, and my information was not passed on. My exhusband was given 2 years to buy me out of the house, and he never did. The problem that I am having now is that I just found out that he lost the house in foreclosure, and the house was sold. What do I need to do to get this off my credit?

Unfortunately you probably have no "legal" method...but you should get all credit reports and dispute the obligation. Divorce decrees have NO effect on community obligations to third parties...ie creditors..but just concerns the spouses...Don't pay any collector or that will make your situation worse...
