wages garnished in texas from oklahoma court order

My wages are being garnished at my texas job from a Oklahoma judgement.I was told this was not legal or possible by a lawyer but my employer is going ahead with the garnishment.How can I stop this?

Wages can be garnished for child support, IRS or student loan debt. If the debt is for something other than that, then you need to hire a lawyer.
