Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Lawsuite Aranda's Restuarant

My father was murdered 10 years ago at a restuarant in Houston, TX. This was done by underage customers at the restuarant who were consuming liquor sold to them by the restaurant. We put up a lawsuite agains the restaurants insurance company but during these 10 years nothing has happened. On our last meeting with our lawyer he said we would be going to trail and we had a huge chance of winning the case, that was in 1999, the court hearing never happened to our knowledge, and the lawyer has now dropped the case. What are our chances of re-opening this case with another lawyer and winning?

Re: Lawsuite Aranda's Restuarant

Hello there,

You first need to see what the status of the case is. Since, nothing has happened since 99 there is the possibility that it may have been dismissed.

If not then you need to hire an attorney to prosecute your case for you.

If my office can be of assistance feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,

Erick Platten
