Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I need leagal advice please. I had purchased furniture from a local company and I never recieved my furniture it is about $3000. The thing is the company is out of business not due to the economy but to the owner destroying the business due to he did not want his wife to have it. All this can be proven because the wife has contacted me. She told me she was very sorry and her attorney did not protect her at all. She said it was under her name as a DBA but he changed it over to an LLC when he filled for divorce. She also told be he makes over $100,000 and there are more people besides me that he did this too. She told me it was a total of about $20,000 of customers money he took. I need to see what I can do. Please Please HELP!!

You have asked this under "criminal law". If you are wanting to file criminal charges, report the activity to police but they will probably tell you it is a civil matter (unless it is in a larger county in which they have special prosecutors who handle these types of matters.)
