Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Can I get out of a parking violation on a technicality on the ticket? I received a ticket for parking in a handicap. I simply did not notice the sign.
However, they wrote the wrong address on the ticket. They did take a picture of my car parked in front of the sign. But can I get off on this technicality of ticketing me for an address that I was not parked at? I even have a receipt showing where I was at at the time of the ticket.

Go to the ticket court. Generally they will significantly reduce the fine, especially with a reasonable explanation.
