what does sealed indictment mean?

Sometimes, the government believes that if an indictment is made public, the person indicted will either flee the jurisdiction, or attempt to harm government witnesses. In these instances, the government can seek a sealed indictment which simply means that the indictment is kept a secret until the individual is arrested.
