Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My son was had a traffic stop where he was found to be in possession of an ounce of marijuana and a switch blade. This is his first offense, what should he do?

He should first get an attorney. Some court require it. If he takes a deal without an attorney, he will not likely know all of the ramifications of his decision, such as whether the offense can be later expunged or non-disclosed and whether it could later be used to enhance a future charge.
