Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

In tarrant county Texas how long will a drug related felony case last when one of the parties from the case has not showed for court and cannot be found? What happens to the person involved in the case that has been showing for court and complying with the courts?

This question does not make sense. If they are co-defendants with pending cases, the one that continues to appear will proceed forward toward trial or plea and be unaffected by the one who absconded (unless the lawyer has a plan that the lawyer is working to try to take advantage of the situation. The lawyer will be in the best position to know what the angle is.)
