Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Texas

Slander/Defamation Issue

My husband was recently hassled by a flight attendant on a commercial flight. She directed comments at him in regard to his size, #of seats he purchased and asked if he wanted multiple servings of snacks, which she offered to no one else. She also told people sitting around him who refused snacks that if they didn't want them, he would eat it for them, sure enough. The airline is doing nothing and we want to know what kind of lawyer we should get to sue her personally for slander/defamation. Two other passengers apologized for her mistreatment so it was heard by others. What kind of lawyer would we get for this case and is it worth the trouble?

Re: Slander/Defamation Issue

Whether or not it's worth trouble is determined by how much you want to pay to hire a lawyer. Any good lawyer can present your claims for the price of a reasonable retainer. Good Luck.
