victim of auto accident
i was hit walking and injured very badly now on ssi..the drunk driver not prosecuted and there is no money to spolit between 3 victims. the attorney is assisting all 3 victims. why would there be no money and i still am paying my own medical bills in excess of $500,000

I have no idea what answer there is to your question, since this is not my area of practice, you already have a lawyer, and there is not enough information here.
However, you can contact the Texas Attorney General regarding the Crime Victim's Compensation Section. It is my understanding that if a crime occurred, and you are a victim you are eligible to apply, whether the driver was prosecuted or not.
