Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I caught my husband cheating and had to threaten him so he would move out.

I caught my husband cheating with a girl from his job which I found out from his cell phone bill and had to threaten him that I would call her husband, and show up at his work and embarrass both of them if he didn't move out. He moved out last September. We have been married 23 years and have 3 daughters and 1 grand daughter. 15, 19, 22, and 1. My 15, 19 and granddaughter live with me. My concern is that my husband makes twice as much as I do and every month I have to argue with him to help financially because I do not make enough money to cover the mortgage, car payment & living expences. He makes over $4000 a month and I only ask him for $700. What can I do to not have to go through this agony every month to get any financial help from him and it is getting worse each time, I am really getting to hate this about a week before I start getting stressed out before having to ask. He told me that he is not paying Since there is no legal separation in Texas and I can not afford a divorce at this time, Is there any other way legally to handle this? Also when we do get the divorce what am I entitled to?

Thanks for any help

Talk to friends and family for financial help and call an attorney quick, you could get child support and temp spousal support. Caal us if you are in the Houston area and need a payment plan 281.485.0990

You can go to court and ask for temporary orders that would include temporary spousal maintenance while the divorce is pending.

It would also order both of you not to hide or sell assets. Without a temp. order, either of you can dispose of assets at will.

If your community property is substanial, it might also be helpful to consider a deposition and/or discovery to learn all the debts and assets that exist.

By all means discuss this with an attorney. You can have a hearing for temportry orders, which will include your husband paying you temporary spousal maintenance and child support while the divorce is pending.

What county is this in? Are you aware of all the banking accounts or are there any that he completely controls.
