in texas. is there a such thing as common law married still?together 7 yrs.

Yes, TX still has common law marraiges.

You must meet certain criteria to qualify.

For example, my sister lived with a guy for over 7 years and they were NOT common law married.

The TX Family Code is on-line. Go to any search engine and type in Texas Family Code. You can read the requirements yourself.

If you separate, you need to file for divorce.
