Re: About divorce

I don't know of any Clerk that has their records online. Some of the large counties in Texas might have some information online, but probably not their case files.

I would suggest that you call the Clerk where your divorce case is/was, and see if they can locate your information by either pulling the file or searching their in-house computer.

Re: About divorce

I was able to order a copy of a marriage license on line from a large county in California but it was difficult.

The problem with divorces is that they are only on file in the county in which the divorce was granted. If you know the county, contact the county clerk and ask for the cost. It is helpful to know the cause number & both parties full names. The year the divorce was granted is also helpful. The cost is approximately $1 per page but each county varies.

I believe that you can also hire a private investigator to do this search for you.

Best of luck to you.

If you have any questions, please give me a call if the divorce was done in the Houston area.
