according to divorce in the state of texas, can you waive child support?

Child support is not for either of the parents, but for the interest of the children. I am not following your question, based on the facts as stated.

As a rule the answer is no, because as Mr. Baez said the support is for the benefit of the child not the parent. In some few occasions you may be able to convince the Judge it is in the best interest of the child to allow it, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
