Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My Ex_ husband wants to give up his rights to our son, and have my husband adopt him. I don't have the money to take him to court. What do i do?

Adoption is not a DIY project. Contact any legal aid organizations in your area. You may also want to visit ,law schools in your area with legal clinics.

I abolustely agree with Omon. I would not waste $$ on a DIY kit. A termination and step-parent adoption are 2 separate lawsuits. Everything has to do done perfectly for a judge to terminate a parent's rights.

You can go to the State Bar of Texas website and look for pro bono (free) legal services.
