my fiance is from mexico and is now in texas. we have been together for 2yrs and have a 3mth old son. he is married in mexico but has been separated for over 5yrs. we want to get married but know he has to get divorced. what is the fastest way and how can this be done from where we live. we live in san antonio, tx

He can file for divorce in texas as long as he meets the residency requirements. He has to live in texas for 9 months and in the county where he is filing for divorce for 6 months.

To get the divorce granted he needs to either obtain a waiver of citation from his spouse or have her served.

Divorces can be complicated so it is best to hire an attorney.
