My husband has a mental illness. Can the court supened the documentation from the therapist to prove he won't be able to get full custody?

I would subpoena the actual therapist to testify and ask him to bring his records with him. You want the testify of the actual therapist rather than the documentation.

I assume that you have an attorney representing you. If not, hire one immediately. Proving mental illness is difficult.
