Re: Limit on number of legal marriages?

You can get married as often as you would like.

However, you need to get a divorce in-between each marriage.

Since a divorce in Texas takes a minimum of 60 days and there is a 30-day waiting period until you marry again, I guess you could get married then divorced then married again every 6 months or so.

If the number of divorces is not one number less than your number of marriages, you have committed a crime. You can only legally be married to one person at a time.

If you are planning to try to set a world record on marriages and divorces, please consider hiring me! I offer a sliding fee scale based on your household income. My initial deposits are also very reasonable.
