This is not legal advise. This is my opinion.

Do not, I repeat, do not sign any legal document without seeking legal advise!

If you harbor any doubt concerning the paternity of the child in question, you should demand DNA paternity testing. They will give you better odds than the lottery. The "loose cannon" element in the whole matter is the fact that the mama can wait until the child is almost adult and go for back support.

You didn't mention whether you and the child are bonded, the age of the child,or even whether you want to be a daddy! Best luck and Happy Holidays!
