Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My spouse signed the Original Petition for Divorce, the Original Final Decree and the Waiver of Service and all forms were filed in Bell County Texas. Our waiting period is almost up and a court date has been set. Is there any way that he can come back at this late date and protest this divorce? He has moved to Florida and keeps saying he now has a lawyer there.

He has 30 days AFTER the judge signs the final decree of divorce to complain. The good news is that most FL attorneys are not licensed to practice law in Texas. Can you imagine the travel expenses for an attorney in FL to come to TX? I won't travel outside my immediate area because my travel costs are so high -- and I'm in Texas! So go forward and pray that he does nothing for 30 days after the judge signs the papers.
