Step parents and child support

Can my ex sue both my husband (step-father to my son) and I for child support? Recently, my son (17 yrs) went to live with his father. I have been returning the monthy child support my ex pays, plus sending extra money. Now my ex says he can get child support from my husband also. Is that possible, in Texas?

No. Child support is a percentage of your income only. Hopefully you have maintained evidence of your payments to him.
