Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

possible breech of contract

my daughter was engaged to be married. her fiance could not finance a new truck on his own due to previous repo. he convinced her to put the truck in her name only and he gave her the money to make down payment and monthly payments and paid the insurance. he later decided he did not want to get married and broke the engagement. he decided he did not want to keep the truck and she does not want it as she has a vehicle. she is going to have to sell the truck and take a loss on the upside down loan. can she--name removed--for the loss since he broke the contract?

Re: possible breech of contract

She can sue him for her loss, for whatever that may be worth. If the deficiency is less than $5,000.00 she can sue him in Small Claims, and not need a lawyer.
