Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

I have an ex GF who may file a restraning order against me. She called the cops on me on NYE and they released me and said they did not believe her since there was no signs of abuse etc. We were both intoxicated. Anyway, now that we have broken up I think she wants to ruin my record. How easy is for her to get one passed in Texas? What evidence do i need to try and block this? Will I have to pay or a lawyer to try and block this restraining / protective order from appearing on my record?

Thanks!

Based on what you have written, there are specific factors required for restraining orders and protective orders. If you add the factor of a dating relationship into the mix, then other rights may be losts by the agressor if proved in court. You should consider consulting with a local law firm to ensure that you are protecting your rights and interests to the fullest extent possible. If my local law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact us at [email protected] to arrange for an initial consultation.
