Type your question here... my question is if you say a cuss word towards someone and they assult you can they be cival sued for damages if they were found not guilty of assault because they verbally assulted by person

Yes, you can still recover civil damages even if the person was found not guilty in a criminal (as a good example look at the criminal and civil cases against OJ Simpson).
