the oral agreement

I entered an oral agreement with a friend on a car purchase. I have made payments totaling to $6000.00. Now he decided to take the car back. I have a maintenance records for the vehicle and witnesses but no receipts where I made my payments since he was my very close friend. Can I file a small claims and regain my money or get my vehicle back?

Don't let him have the vehicle back. Make him go to court. Then you can show your evidence. Good Luck.
