Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

In Texas, if I buy a beer or two for another person and they go get themselves killed and injure a third party am I liable iin civil court?

Question Details : I'm not a business or seller/server, just a customer buying a few rounds for another person and I'm the one actually handing him the beer. The business wouldn't sell this guy beer because he was being racist to the bartender and she refused to sell him a beer, so I bought a few rounds of beer and gave it to him.

No, you're not liable, unless the person you bought for was "visibly drunk."
