deportation

my brother had been told that he was not going to be deported when he was going to get out but at the last minute they said that he was because the laws had changed and he can not reapply until 10 yrs is there anything we can do. he was in for possession of less than one gram cocaine.

Yes -- he may be able to resolve his situation favorably. It is important that you locate an attorney in the same District that he is being held. It is important to act quickly, and to take ALL of his paperwork to the consultation with the attorney. TCL
