Residency status

My student status was terminated on May 2005 and I won the green card lottery on July 2006. I began filing the application for change of status on March 2006. Am I considered eligible for this application?

Please explain what you mean by your student status was terminated. Did you mean that your school program ended? Also, please clarify the rest of your e-mail.
