Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas

Am i liable??

I was just involved in my first car accident. I rear ended another vehicle. Which that vehicle then hit another vehicle. I was told i am to pay for both the damage to the car i hit and the car they hit as well. The car i hit was following too closely to the other car and hit it. Am i liable?? Please help me out.

Report it to your insurance company, call your agent...do not try to decide on liability as your insurance company will..
