Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

Case of defamation?

A female relative(daughter) was injured at her employment and failed a drug screen, resulting in her termination. After this the regional manager of that company contacted my employer stating he had a written statement from her drug screener implicating me with drug use. He has demanded that my company immediately test me under threat of him finding a new contractor to do our job, told my immediate supervisor I am a ''druggie'', escalated the matter so that the heads of both companies are involved, and banned me from his locations until the test comes back negative. Does this meet the criteria of libel, slander, or defamation?

Re: Case of defamation?

Defense for slander/libel/defamataion is Truth...so has the test come back? do you have a history of drug use? if not you have a case..but what are the damages..did you lose a job/promotion/etc???
