being evicted after 6 months without a written agreement

my son and i lived at a residance for 6 months. everything we owed was there. my mail has been comming there for 6 months, i had a key, but, it was a verble agreement. can we be forced to leave without any notice?

Based on what you have said, the agreement sounds like a month to month lease. But dependent upon other factors, it may be possible that you could be forced to leave without any notice or a very minimal notice requirement.
