Sister wants out of lease
My sister signed a lease with me and my husband and she is leaving without paying her share of rent. Can we change the locks and through her out?

NO NO NO. Absolutely not. IF you want to evict her, you must go through the eviction process. First, give her a notice to vacate in three days. When the three days is up, file an eviction in the Justice Court. If you change locks and throw her stuff out you are just giving her a great case against you for unlawful lockout, etc.
