Doctor's negilence and injury to patient

If a doctor is doing injections to a patient, and the patient is already put to sleep, and the patient falls off the doctor's bed or table. Is the doctor responsible for the injury caused to the patient when he or she hit the floor. There was no straps or belts put on the patient or the bed rail guards put upto keep the patient from falling during injections.

The situation you have described could certainly be considered by a jury to constitute negligence on the part of the doctor. Of course, whether you have a viable claim will depend upon several factors, the most important of which is how much injury was caused by the fall. If the injury consists of only "bumps and bruises," the case would not have enough monetary value to justify the high costs of pursuing a malpractice claim.
