Personal Injury

I fell on a public bus. Have no broken bones just pain and suffering. Is it worth it to get a lawyer? What is average settlement?

If you incurred medical bills, regardless if paid by insurance, to go with your pain and suffering, then it might be worthwhile. Since it is a public bus, you will probably have to hire an attorney in order to have any chance of recovering $ from the public bus.

Settlement values are based on damages and liability. You haven't given enough detail for me to answer your final question.
