Rear ended, how much should I ask for ?

My son was rear-ended and the insururance paid for the repairs. The insurance company is only wanting to pay him $1500 for medical and damages ie; pain and suffering. His bills come up to $1100. How much should he ask for./

If he feels he needs more, and there is no serious injury..he can pay filing fees for small claim Court..about $92...and the award can be as much as $10,000. It may be more, it may be less..and even nothing..since you will be asking a different fact finder to determine how much he should be paid..
