Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

They separated us into two different patrol cars. They did not call EMS and that has caused some emotional distress on my part, and my girlfriend. The State Trooper finally arrived and called EMS immediately. Once admitted my girlfriend was found to have blood on her brain, I needed staples in my head, and had a busted lip. We were both obviously out of it, there was blood on my, visible blood in my upside down car. I set my head down in the back of a patrol car, and a deputy hit his hand against the window/my head...several times very hard. I feel like I was treated like a criminal when I was only trying to avoid an accident.
