Legal Question in Product Liability in Texas
exclusion from settlement
If I do not exclude myself from a pending classaction settlement will I be able to recover costs already incurred in repairing my vehicle? I replaced an engine before I learned of the class action suit. My date for exclusion is Dec. 30, 2006.

If you are in the class action, your recovery will be without regard to your personal expenses. If you opt out, you will have to pursue your claims at your expense. Not a palatable choice.
